The Hague Apostille is an official certification that authenticates public documents (such as notarial powers of attorney) for recognition in the countries that have signed the Hague Convention of 1961. More than 120 countries accept it, including the entire European Union, the United States, Latin America, Australia, and many others.
Without an apostille, a Spanish notarial power of attorney may not be valid abroad, as the receiving country cannot verify the authenticity of the Spanish notary's signature. The apostille is the international mechanism that resolves this problem effectively and in a recognized manner.

How much does an international notarial power of attorney with apostille cost?

What is the difference between apostille and consular legalization?
The apostille is used for countries that are signatories to the Hague Convention (the majority). The consular legalization is the equivalent procedure for countries that have not signed the Convention, and requires more steps: legalization by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and subsequent legalization by the consulate of the destination country. We also handle this complete process.
